Marinas.com – To locate any possible marinas you might want to stay at on your journeys.

Active Captain – A Garmin site that can help you chart out and plan any journey. When going to Active Captain – select Map and on the side select Street Map and Navigation. A lot of good planning information here.

Waterway Guide – A planning \ charting tool and where you can sign up to have weekly alerts sent to you about missing buoys, beacons, and hazards to navigation. Provides Marinas, fuel, amenities, bridges & clearance information, and urgent alerts. If you plan on doing any exploring, it might be worth your while to sign up and join and get their annual manual update of the local (Southern) waterways with their alerts.
